With over 30 years of total aviation experience, POSTBIRD provides the following services at Erbil International Airport:

  • Representation for foreign airlines, including passenger and air cargo flights
  • Airport management of all ground handling activity by the official Airport ground handling company
  • Arrangements and payment for all operations, with pre-payment by standard Pro-Forma Invoice procedures
  • Arrangements for JET-A1 fuel and fueling operations, and arrangements for additional airport services and ground equipment, not previously requested
  • As requested, liaison with the Erbil Airport authorities, Airport Security and/or other authorities, for ATS PPR and other operating approvals
  • Logistics, Ground and Vehicle arrangements (by a 3rd party) for the entire region of Kurdistan
  • Additional operational requests and expenses are automatically provided upon request, and specific cash payment will be secured, with subsequent invoicing, subject to a standard 10% Cash Advance charge. This includes arrangements and immediate expenses for delayed flights, irregular operations, emergency crew and passenger overnight accommodations and transportation, etc.

Note: Operational activity and representation service at Sulaimaniyah International are available, but subject to individual operational approval by Sulaimaniyah Airport authorities. Approval is expected but not guaranteed.

MANAGING DIRECTOR:  RICHARD BROWNLOW
 
Over the past 6 years, Mr. Brownlow has worked in the Middle East Region, most recently in Dubai. He has worked and lived at Erbil and Sulaimaniyah (Kurdistan) and Baghdad (Iraq), while working with an air charter airline, specifically with revenue passenger and cargo charters, including required ground Logistics movements, Sales, Marketing, Operations, passenger services and customer relations with clients and customers in Kurdistan and all other airports in Iraq. 
 
With a major US-based Air Charter Operator with headquarters in Dallas, TX, Mr. Brownlow was the Vice President of Worldwide Operations for more than 5 years, for cruise line air charter passenger programs, and supplementary cargo movements, and primary responsibility for current Sales and Marketing activity with the contractors and commercial departments of the US Government contractual air requirements.  He has managed and supervised over 100 multiple wide-body air charter operations and provided over 40 presentations to cruise line executives and corporate decision-makers for air charter options to business requirements.
 
Prior to his involvement in the commercial air charter marketplace, Mr. Brownlow was the Director of International Operations for a major IATA air carrier, Eastern Air Lines, Inc. of Miami, Florida, USA, and was responsible for airport operations and management of 44 international airports, until the company was closed in 1995.
